Some Gigabyte motherboards already support the unique Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor

Gigabyte seems to be the first to add support for the Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor to its motherboards.

Support has been added for many boards based on AMD 400 and 500 series chipsets. In addition, the new BIOS brings the Max CPU Boost Clock Override feature and fixes for a number of issues.

Recall that the Ryzen 7 5800X3D is the company's only new desktop CPU, introduced at the beginning of the year. Of course, it is conditionally new. In fact, this is the same Ryzen 7 5800X, but with slightly lower frequencies and an additional 64 MB of L3 cache, which should have a positive effect on performance in games and some applications.

When the Ryzen 7 5800X3D will go on sale and how much it will cost is still unknown, but AMD talked about the arrival of the CPU in the spring.
