KamLan 55mm f/1.4 lens sales announced

The KamLan 55mm f/1.4 lens is being unveiled at CP+ 2022, an online-only show this year. This is a full frame manual focus lens designed for mirrorless cameras. More specifically, the KamLan 55mm f/1.4 lens will be available in Sony E, Nikon Z and Canon R mounts.

According to the manufacturer, the new lens provides a field of view close to that of the naked eye, making it quite versatile. The large maximum aperture allows you to shoot in low light, such as indoors or at night. In addition, it adds to the arsenal of expressive means a strong background blur due to a shallow depth of field, which is in demand, in particular, when shooting portraits. The 13-blade aperture diaphragm provides a pleasing blur pattern for the eyes. The description also notes a metal case and an aperture ring that rotates without clicks. The latter feature will be appreciated by those who plan to use the lens for video shooting.
