Tesla autopilot tested on the deadliest road in the United States

On the YouTube channel, CGP Gray, with more than 5 million subscribers, published an interesting video in which a Tesla Model 3 electric vehicle is tested with the beta version of the Full Self Driving system installed.

Tesla decided to test the complete unmanned system on the Tail of the Dragon track - a stretch of 18 km with 318 corners. This route, located on the border of Tennessee and North Carolina, has been dubbed the deadliest road in the United States.

On the track there is a famous tree on which the parts of cars crashed on this road are hung. It is a warning to other drivers. A few hours after the test, another car crashed on the track. Often riders come to the track, trying to establish the best time to go, cross a solid line and exceed the speed limit.

The driver adhered to Tesla's official instructions: even when the Full Self Driving system was activated, his hands remained on the steering wheel so that he could take over control at any time. As a result, the car drove all 18 km without errors, so the driver entrusted his life to the robot on the way back.

Yesterday, Tesla founder Elon Musk commented on the tragic accident involving the Tesla Model 3 electric car, as a result of which 1 person died and 20 more were injured.
