Chinese automaker Geely has retired its oldest and cheapest model, the Geely Vision. This sedan was called a Toyota Camry clone, the model stayed on the market for 16 years.
The car debuted in 2006 and was sold for some time in Russia, where it did not become a bestseller. In China, sales of Geely Vision exceeded one million units. The model has been updated several times, the last time it happened in 2019.
The latest version of Geely Vision had LED optics, a multimedia system with an 8-inch display and voice control, a rear-view camera, cruise control, a stabilization system and other modern systems. The car was equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 109 hp, which works with a five-speed manual gearbox or CVT.
In China, the car was the most affordable in the Geely lineup. It could be purchased at a price of 400 thousand rubles in terms of our money.
In Russia, Geely is preparing to release an updated crossover Coolray.
