In the production association "Flight" (part of the State Corporation "Roscosmos") "in a high degree of readiness" is a full-size copy of the launch vehicle "Angara-A5" (product "NZh"), indicated on the official website of Roscosmos.

This copy is needed to work out the program for preparing a flight rocket for launch and certification of the Amur space rocket complex at the Vostochny cosmodrome. Specialists manufactured pipelines of the first and second stages of the NZh product and sent them to the final assembly shop.

More than half of the compartments of the two stages of the rocket are now in the final assembly. In addition, the manufacture of oxidizer tanks has been completed. Some of them are located in a specialized workshop for applying a heat-insulating coating, which protects the tank from heat loss.

In parallel with the creation of a copy, the stage compartments of the first Angara-A5 flight rocket for the Vostochny cosmodrome are in the final stage of manufacture. They will be handed over for final assembly in mid-summer 2022.
