Four more Russians have been charged with cybercrimes in the United States

In the United States, four more Russians have been charged with cybercrime. This was told during a telephone press conference by the acting. Massachusetts Attorney Nathaniel Mendel, TASS reports.

Mendel's statement came against the background of Switzerland's June decision to extradite Russian Vladislav Klyushin to the United States.

According to him, one of the Russians was previously charged with cybercrimes related to an attempt to influence the US elections in 2016 and an attempt to hack into the resources of the World Anti-Doping Agency. He explained that we are talking about a certain Ivan Ermakov.

A spokesman for the US prosecutor's office also named the other defendants. They are Mikhail Kozak, Igor Sladkov, Nikolay Ulyanchev. The search for them, Mendel clarified, continues. However, he did not specify whether the US authorities know where they may be at the present time.

Klyushin was detained on March 21 this year at the airport of the Swiss city of Sion. He is charged with tens of millions of dollars of insider trading involving several accomplices. On December 18, at the request of the United States, Klyushin was extradited from Switzerland to the United States of America.
