Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphones will be the first to receive One UI 4.1

Samsung has already released its proprietary One UI 4.0 based on the Android 12 operating system for its premium smartphones, including the Galaxy S21, Galaxy Fold 3 and others.

The South Korean giant is now working on a new version of its user interface called One UI 4.1, which will be released with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 series phones, sources say.

Samsung One UI 4.1 firmware will be preinstalled on Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 + and Galaxy S22 Ultra models. It is reported that the company will also release it for the previous generation Galaxy S series smartphones. The update will be rolling out to the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy Note 20 smartphones shortly after the new flagships are released, according to the moderator of the Samsung Support Forum.

There is currently no information on the upcoming availability of One UI 4.1 for the Galaxy S20 series smartphones, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, but the source suggests they will receive the update shortly after the Galaxy S21 lineup.

The flagship Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphones are expected to be unveiled in February 2022, a month after the South Korean company launches the highly anticipated Galaxy S21 FE smartphone.
