At the exposition of the Ministry of Defense, they showed a tank connected to a special remote control that allows you to control the movement of the vehicle and firing. It is stated that today this novelty is the only development in the world that has such powerful weapons that can be controlled from a distance. In the United States, for example, there is only an unmanned version of the M1150 heavy assault vehicle, which is a specialized modification of the M1A1 Abrams and is designed to make a passage in minefields.

Domestic designers also worked on robotic heavy engineering and fire fighting equipment. Of the relatively new products, one can recall the 60-ton Omsk tracked firefighter SPM. In its design, the T-80 chassis was used. On the basis of the "eighties" and the T-72, several samples of remote-controlled tanks were created. The newest and most perfect of them is "Sturm".

Rosoboronexport stated that it is currently moving to the foreign market. Russian tanks are very popular all over the world, for example, the T-90S, in addition to the Russian army, are in service with the armies of almost a dozen states.
