Russian developer showed new features of the PS4 and PS5 emulator called Kyty

A Russian enthusiast developer named InoriRus released an early version of his own PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 emulator called Kyty a few months ago. So far, this is a test version, but it already can run a number of commercial 2D games.

Now the author has shown the possibilities of the new version numbered 0.2.0. The video showed the launch of PlayStation 5 SDK samples with a resolution of 720p and a frame rate of 59-60 FPS.

In addition, the author demonstrated the launch of the Blackhole platformer with a frequency of 5-15 FPS and the turn-based strategy Worms W.M.D. at 14-16 fps. Testing was conducted on a PC with an Intel Core i7-7400 processor with an NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti graphics card. That is, on a more powerful assembly, the result will be higher.

Previously, the developer showed the launch of PS4 games using this emulator. He managed to launch the games Sonic Mania and We Are Doomed. Note that his name is Pavel, but other data about him is not yet available.
