iPhone 14 will receive an outdated processor

The iPhone 14 will be powered by Apple's A15 Bionic chipset, known from the iPhone 13, reports MyDrivers. The more modern 4nm Apple A16 chipset will be used in the flagship iPhone 14 Pro.

As such, the lineup will feature four models of the iPhone 14 lineup, namely the iPhone 14 and 14 Max, which will be powered by the 2021 chip, and the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, which will be based on Apple's new A16 chip.

The company's unusual decision is attributed to several reasons. First, Apple may be planning price cuts for entry-level models to cover a wider price range. Secondly, such a course may be associated with the continuing shortage of semiconductors.

It is also assumed that this is how Apple plans to increase shipments of the flagship iPhone 14 Pro, which in turn will increase sales and profits.

Earlier she said that the iPhone 14 Pro will be equipped with a 48-megapixel camera.
