The Google Play Store has changed the rating system for applications - it has become more accurate

The user feedback system, in theory, is designed to make it easier to choose one or another application, game or utility. But until recently, there was a problem - Google Play did not take into account the type of device on which the application was launched. A certain game might look and work well on a tablet, but on a smartphone. However, now it will be taken into account.

The system will determine the type of user device and show a rating depending on this. That is, if the application works better on a smartphone than on a tablet, then when viewed on a smartphone, the rating of the program will be higher.

The system will also select reviews published by other users who are in the same region. In other words, if the application is more useful for Russia, and the user himself is in the Russian Federation, then he will be given a higher rating. This will also affect the final numbers.

At the same time, Google will not show reviews regarding the application on a particular device. Simply put, apps that perform better on flagship smartphones than budget smartphones will continue to be underrated by low-end smartphone owners.

Earlier it was reported that Rustore is becoming more like the Google Play Store.
