Miner from Vietnam shows hose washing farm with Nvidia graphics cards before selling them

A miner from Vietnam showed the process of hosing down a crypto farm with Nvidia graphics cards before selling them. The used cards, judging by the color of the water, were quite dirty, they had not been looked after, and they had not been cleaned since they were installed in the farm.

The blogger who posted these videos explained that in this way some cryptominers prepare video cards that have been used around the clock for a long time for sale on the secondary market. Then they dry them and send them to customers.

Some miners are more careful about preparing for the sale of used video cards. They remove the radiators and carry out cleaning baths with them using ozonized water.

Experts believe that in this case, buyers of such video cards may receive a non-working device, especially if the video card takes a long time to reach them after purchase. The internal and external elements of the adapter may be subject to corrosion, and this is not visible externally in the photo. Industry representatives explained that a lot of video cards from miners appeared on the market in September, who sell them after the transition of Ethereum to the Proof-of-Stake algorithm. They warn gamers against buying cheap cards or from unverified sellers.
