Cats have caused problems for Starlink satellite internet user. This was announced by one of the Twitter users.

Starlink is a global high-speed satellite Internet system that is being deployed by SpaceX. The Starlink user terminal is generally similar to a satellite dish, with the only difference that it is based on a phased array antenna, which allows you to control the direction of receiving and transmitting data without physically rotating the antenna.

Canadian resident Aaron Taylor posted a photo of several cats sitting on a Starlink plate. According to him, "Starlink worked great until the cats found the plate to warm up a little on cold days."

This is because the terminal has a built-in snow melting system so that it does not degrade the signal quality. However, according to Taylor, cats also spoil the signal quality and interrupt watching movies.

The user also noted that the point is not that cats freeze: they leave the heated cat house on their own to sit on a plate on sunny days. They stay inside at night and in cloudy weather.

It is worth noting that Starlink dishes can be installed not only on the ground, but in any place where there is a direct line of sight with satellites.
