Travel planning service OneTwoTrip told how the Russians were going to spend the first third of January and what budget they set for holidays on New Year's holidays.

The poll, which was attended by 2080 people, showed that the majority wanted to meet the amount of 40 to 50 thousand rubles.

At the same time, 80% of the respondents said that they try to get fresh impressions during the holidays. Of those who planned some New Year's leisure, almost half (49%) allocated a separate budget for this, the remaining 51% did not count the money.

The respondents were ready to spend an average of 40-50 thousand rubles for a trip on a holiday weekend. And those who stayed in their city allocated an average of 10 thousand rubles for recreation. At the same time, exactly half of the respondents admitted that they are trying to save money during the New Year holidays.

If during the holidays there was a desire to travel, but at the same time there was a need to save money, 65% were willing to compromise and go on trips within their region. The remaining 35% still left for more distant locations. Summing up, 59% answered that in general it is not worth saving on trips on New Year's holidays, 41% are of the opposite opinion.
