The average pension of a non-working pensioner after indexation of 8.6% will be almost 19 thousand rubles. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Labor Anton Kotyakov, RIA Novosti reports.
“On behalf of the president, old-age insurance pensions for non-working Russians will be indexed by 8.6%. Taking into account this indexation, the average insurance pension of a non-working old-age pensioner will be 18,984 rubles in 2022. This year, this will additionally require over 170 billion rubles,” the minister said.
As specified in the Ministry of Labor, next year the amount of such payments will reach 20,047 rubles, and in 2024 - 21,150 rubles. The payment of pensions in an increased amount and additional payment for the first months will occur after the adoption of the relevant amendments, the ministry noted.
In addition, more than 500 billion rubles will be spent on pensions in the period from 2022 to 2024: 172.7 billion rubles this year, 178.3 billion rubles in 2023, 188.9 billion rubles in 2024.
As Elena Bibikova, deputy chairman of the Federation Council committee on social policy, explained earlier, the increase in pensions of non-working pensioners after indexation by 8.6% will average 1.4 thousand rubles. According to her, if the pension is higher than the average, then the increase after indexation will be higher.
