A user on the popular online forum Reddit told a story about how he accidentally got his colleague fired after she didn't give him a New Year's present.

According to a user who worked in a small office, his colleagues decided to arrange a game of "secret Santa", in which each employee had to give a.jpgt to someone else. The hero of the story decided to take part in the exchange of Christmas.jpgts, but before he could do anything, a colleague, whom he called Jan in the story, approached him and asked if he would go to church service. The protagonist answered this in the negative, after which, while giving.jpgts to each other, he realized that he had nothing left.

Then Jen came up to him and said that since he was an unbeliever, there was no point in giving him a.jpgt. The young employee decided to forget about this incident, but soon he was called by the office manager, who himself asked him about the incident. The next day, he learned that Jen had been fired.

Many site visitors supported the young man, telling him that Jen's dismissal was actually her own fault. Some, in turn, said that it would probably be better for him not to talk about this story with the boss.
