Lawyer Dmitry Chipchiu said in a conversation with the REN TV channel that the widow of the singer and composer Alexander Gradsky, Marina Kotashenko, who announced the theft of 100 million rubles, entered into an agreement with the robbers.

“A person colluded with someone to stage an alleged robbery, took possession, and can then dispose of a significant amount of funds,” the lawyer said.

Journalists describe inconsistencies in Kotashenko's story. Firstly, it was initially reported that the criminals lay in wait for her in the Zhedochy area, then it was stated that she was driving towards the Kiev highway, and there was no such village on the way there. Secondly, there is not a single witness to the robbery. Thirdly, it is not clear why such a large amount of money was kept under the bed. Finally, it is strange that the victim contacted the police not immediately, but seven hours later.

According to Kotashenko, on Monday, January 16, three unknown people provoked an accident with her car. Then the attackers forced the widow to return home and give them the money kept there.

Earlier, Gradsky's friend Anatoly Aleshin admitted that the robbery was staged.
