“After serving his sentence in a colony for theft, he did not want to report himself and was hiding from the police in the taiga, where he built a house for himself and lived there with his friend,” the report says.

The management indicated that during this time the man stole the property of summer residents in garden partnerships. Law enforcement officers identified 26 episodes of crimes. The amount of damage amounted to about 250 thousand rubles.

The prey of the "hermit" was power tools, household appliances, inventory, dishes, clothes, various foodstuffs and even someone else's passport.

The thief stored equipment that needed to be connected to the network on numerous shelves in the house and outbuildings. During the search, they seized from him a substantial supply of provisions stolen from other people. The stolen goods will soon be returned to their rightful owners.
