Kiev accused Russian special services of “mining” Ukrainian schools

The SBU accused Russia of "mining" schools in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the year, about 300 threats about explosive devices have been received in social facilities in Ukraine, the Strana.ua portal reports.

The department believes that the Russian special services use pseudo-mining of social facilities as one of the elements of a hybrid war to increase pressure on Ukraine. The SBU calculated that since the beginning of 2022 there were 300 such messages, and for the entire last year - 1100.

Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian police are checking the office of the President of the country Volodymyr Zelensky after a report of mining. The security forces do not let people go to Bankova Street in Kiev, where the building of the President's office is located. At the same time, office employees are not evacuated. There is an ambulance outside the building.

In Russia, there is also a wave of reports of school bombings. Hundreds of reports of bombing kindergartens, schools and colleges have disrupted classes in Russian cities since January 12. The influx of false statements began in Yekaterinburg, and the very next day it spread to a number of regions of Russia - in some cities, for example, in Rostov-on-Don, the number of "mined" objects in one day reached fifty. Former law enforcement officers and a human rights activist told who is behind the massive "mining" of the last week, what does the information war have to do with it and why it is not possible to find telephone terrorists.
