The president of the Republic of Gambia, Sheikh Alhaji Dr Yahya AJJ Jammeh has made donation of 700, 000 Gambian dalasi to the Banjulinding Women Horticultural Garden in Kombo North on behalf of his wife and the entire First Family.

The Vice President Aja Dr Isatou Njie-Saidy yesterday commended the women of the garden, saying they have been working hard in the garden with the high productivity in both wet and dry seasons.

According to her, President Jammeh’s donation is in recognition of their efforts in the agriculture sector and the role they play in inspiring many other women groups and the entire Gambian population.
