Russia (bbabo.net) - Voronezh investigators have launched an investigation into the attack of a mongrel on a girl in the regional center of Semiluki.

The incident took place on Saturday afternoon at the station square. The child was not injured - the animal tore the schoolgirl's trousers. The girl's mother spoke about the incident on social networks and appealed to the city administration with a request to take action.

- There are a lot of dogs on the forecourt, they rush at passers-by. Children living in the lower part of the city walk through the square after the second shift at school. Shall we wait for the dogs to bite someone? - wrote a resident of Semiluk.

The administration of the Semiluksky district replied that they deeply regret what happened, however, "procedures with dogs are carried out within the framework of the legislation on the humane treatment of animals."

- As part of the audit, a legal assessment of the current situation will be given - including the actions of officials responsible for the work on trapping stray animals, - the regional department of the UK reported.
