The Ministry of Health of Russia has issued a memo for patients with COVID-19 in a mild form, the document is published on the website of the department.

The document, entitled "Aid to citizens on actions in case of asymptomatic or mild novel coronavirus infection and acute respiratory viral infection," provides recommendations for those who are ill.

Those who have been vaccinated or have been ill with a positive PCR test result for coronavirus and no symptoms are advised to obtain a sick leave certificate and self-isolate, measure their temperature at least once a day. Those who have not been vaccinated with symptoms of SARS or a positive smear result for COVID-19 should call the clinic for a remote consultation, in case of deterioration, call an ambulance.

Also among the key recommendations are regular ventilation of the premises, monitoring your condition, including with the help of a pulse oximeter.

A separate block of instructions concerns sick children. Parents are advised to immediately seek advice from a children's clinic, including remotely, and a strict ban on self-medication is indicated.

“You should not take antibiotics on your own. Antibiotics can only be prescribed by a medical professional and only if there are indications,” the Ministry of Health emphasizes.
