A resident of St. Petersburg reported several more victims of barium poisoning in the clinic

There may be more victims of barium poisoning in the consultative and diagnostic center No. 1 in St. Petersburg - several people died at the end of December. This was told by the daughter of one of the victims, Victoria, her 66-year-old mother died on December 23, 2021.

“She became ill in the morning immediately after visiting the clinic. Mom's friend told me that she was sick. They called an ambulance, the doctors thought something was wrong with her heart, gave her an injection, and ten minutes after they left, she died. That is, in fact, it took only ten hours to kill a person - my mother had absolutely no heart problems, ”she said.

At autopsy, the cause was called heart failure, but the daughters decided to double-check and ordered a chemical examination. She also added that the family is sure of barium poisoning - vomit clots in the mother's apartment are not amenable to any disposal methods even after a month.

“We are now waiting for the results of a chemical examination from the morgue. In addition, the whole apartment is in barium, which made her sick - it lies in a piece of suspension in the toilet bowl. Not a single chemistry could dissolve it, it is not washed off. I collected it and put it in a jar for examination, ”added Victoria.

Victoria suggests that no one initially associated the December deaths with barium, since people did not feel unwell in the clinic itself, as was the case with the January deaths.

“Now the whole of St. Petersburg buzzed and calmed down for two days - the health committee reported that they had found everyone, in January there were three victims, three injured. At the same time, I know at least two more people who died and one who was injured. Therefore, the UK needs to pay attention to December, as well, because there could be hundreds of victims, ”she said.

The girl turned to the Investigative Committee, and is also looking for relatives of other victims and victims.

Earlier it was reported that more than 20 people were injured and three died after gastrography in a St. Petersburg medical center.
