"He used the services of a beam crane and transported this foreign car to his area. The stolen vehicle, which the man planned to use as a so-called" auto-donor, "was seized and returned to its rightful owner," the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Sakhalin Region said.

A criminal case has been initiated under the article "Theft committed with the infliction of significant damage to a citizen." The suspect gave a written undertaking not to leave.
