Among the diseases that cause an unpleasant odor, the specialist singled out caries, gingivitis, periodontal disease, candidiasis of the oral cavity / tongue, tonsillitis, nasopharyngitis, infectious esophagitis, chronic gastritis / gastroduodenitis, liver cirrhosis.

Also, the smell occurs when smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, excessive consumption of onions, garlic and other foods with a strong smell.

For prevention, Kalandia advised regular oral hygiene, avoiding sweets to prevent the development of caries, and contacting a dentist for professional teeth cleaning.
