Russia - The prosecutor's office will study the certificate of non-conviction from the teacher who read to the children of Kharms

Russia (bbabo.net), - The Prosecutor's Office of St. Petersburg began checking the certificate of no criminal record from the former teacher of gymnasium No. 168 Serafima Saprykina. This was reported by the TV channel "Saint Petersburg" with reference to the vice-governor of the Northern capital Irina Potekhina.

The fact is that the girl who became famous after the scandal with reading the works of Kharms and Vvedensky in the classroom still had a criminal record. As previously reported, Saprykina, who then had a different name and surname, was tried in 2008 in Volgograd for intentionally causing grievous bodily harm. The sentence is two and a half years of probation, which is much lower than the courts usually give for crimes of this kind.

However, whatever the circumstances of the case, a criminal record, as a rule, closes a person's access to work in the education system. When applying for a job, Serafima presented a document proving that she had no conflicts with the law. The educational institution does not have the authority to cross-check the data. In addition to school No. 168, the girl worked in other educational institutions, and nowhere did her certificate raise questions.

It is worth noting that the conviction itself has long been extinguished. The prosecutor's office is investigating whether this information should have been reflected in the certificate, and also whether the content of the document was affected by the fact that after a criminal record the citizen changed her name.

Recall that attention to Saprykina was attracted by her statement in social networks, where she said that she was forced to quit because of reading to children during the lesson the works of repressed writers. Subsequently, the school and educational structures of Smolny denied this, pointing out that the cause of the conflict was the departure of the teacher from the curriculum.
