“It was previously established that the children played under the roof of the house, collected ice blocks and carried them to a playground located nearby, after which an ice block fell from the roof on one of the children,” the supervisory authority said.

The boy was taken to the children's regional clinical hospital.

The prosecutor's office of the Moskovsky district of Tver, which organized an investigation into the fact of trauma to the child, found that at the time of the incident, half of the roof of the building had already been cleared of snow and ice, but there was no fence on the territory under the uncleaned half of the roof.

The investigating authorities of the regional Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation also organized their check on the fact of the incident. Investigators and a criminologist left for the scene.

Law enforcement agencies intend to give an objective legal assessment of the actions of those responsible for the timely cleaning of the roof from snow.
