Britain lifts quarantine for people vaccinated with non-WHO vaccines

The UK authorities have canceled the mandatory quarantine for unvaccinated tourists and those who were vaccinated with drugs not approved by WHO, Interfax-Tourism reports.

The measures came into effect on February 11. Now, the specified categories of people entering the country will need to pass two PCR tests - one before the trip, and the second no later than two days after arriving in the UK.

It also remains necessary to complete the Passenger Locator Form 48 hours before departure.

On January 19, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that the British authorities were lifting most of the restrictions imposed in the face of the detection of the omicron type of coronavirus.

Earlier it became known that Norway also decided to lift quarantine for all Russian tourists from January 26, 2022, regardless of vaccination status.
