The Russian portal TJournal has announced the blocking of its website in Belarus.

According to the publication, the reason for the blocking is unknown. The editors sent a request to the Ministry of Information of Belarus.

The message notes that TJ users initially noticed the blocking. According to them, the site has ceased to open on the MTS and Beltelecom networks since February 9.

“We were unable to find a mention of TJ on the website of the Ministry of Information, the site also does not appear in the register of extremist materials,” the publication noted.

Earlier in Belarus, access to the website of the Regnum agency was restricted.

In 2016, the Belarusian authorities arrested three Belarusian Regnum journalists, accusing them of “inciting enmity and discord between the peoples of Belarussia”, “extremism”, as well as unfairly negative assessments of the policies pursued by the authorities.
