They claim that such devices allegedly allow free movement on all toll roads in the country for several years. This was told in the state company "Avtodor", stating that "unlimited" transponders do not exist.

Devices purchased from scammers are already tied to a fictitious personal account, which has a certain amount of money. They are written off during the first few passages, and then it is impossible to make passages, Avtodor explained. At the same time, the amount of funds on the account is significantly lower than what the victim of fraud spends on the purchase.

Money is debited at the toll booth or when passing through the “free flow” system. Since the device has been functioning for some time, the user believes that everything works according to the unlimited option. At the same time, the driver cannot check the balance and get full information about his trips, since registration in the personal account is not provided.⠀

The company recommended purchasing transponders only from authorized dealers and registering your device on the official website or in the Avtodor mobile app.

The law introducing fines for non-payment of travel on a toll road came into force in January 2021. The fine for drivers of cars is 1.5 thousand rubles, and for drivers of buses and trucks - 5 thousand rubles.
