Student Timur Bekmansurov, who is accused of mass murder at Perm State University, has been brought to court to consider the investigation's petition to extend the arrest. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

Investigators found that on September 20, 2021, 18-year-old first-year student Timur Bekmansurov fired at the Perm State National Research University. As a result, six people were killed during the attack, more than 40 people were injured. The person who opened fire was charged with the murder of two or more persons, attempted murder, as well as an attempt on the life of a law enforcement officer. At the end of last year, the student was sent to a pre-trial detention center until February 20, 2022.
