Most retired Russians don't think the army hindered their careers

The vast majority of men who served on the draft, believe that the army did not interfere with their careers. Representatives of the economically active population from all districts of the country took part in the survey of the SuperJob search service for high-paying jobs.

Moreover, those whose careers in the army did not interfere, most of all among Russians with an income of over 80 thousand rubles. (87%). The fact that military duty has had a negative impact on professional development is more often said by men under 34 than by the older generation (16% versus 8%).

What kind of army does the country need: draft or contract? The majority of Russians vote formation of the armed forces on a contract basis (55%). Only one in five Russians (21%) believes that the country needs a draft army. Moreover, among the men who served, there are twice as many supporters of conscription service than among those who did not serve (26 and 13%, respectively), but the majority are still for the contract army (65% among those who served and 72% among those who did not serve).
