Servers for former President Donald Trump's TRUTH Social social platform are up and running. The launch itself is scheduled for the end of March this year, writes FOX Business.
According to the publication, beta testing of TRUTH Social from Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) continues.
The app is already available for pre-order in the Apple App Store.
The developers told FOX Business that TMTG is partnering with Hive, a San Francisco-based startup that has provided them with automated cloud-based artificial intelligence solutions for images, videos, and text. Hive technology provides automatic moderation for all these types of content.
“We want to be very friendly, we want it to be a very safe place, and we are focused on making sure there is no illegal content on the site,” said U.S. Congressman Davin Nunes, who left his position to head Trump's social network.
Trump himself, meanwhile, stated that "TruthSocial will resist Big Tech so that we can protect our rights to free speech."
The Trump Media & Technology Group project was launched in October 2021. The company said last month that it had secured $1 billion in funding from institutional investors.
