Russia (bbabo.net), - In Chelyabinsk, a criminal case has been initiated against the director of the Moscow Municipal Autonomous Institution "Pushkin City Garden", suspected of taking a bribe. The official was detained, the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the region reported on Wednesday.
“According to the investigation, in the period from 2017 to 2021, the suspect received a bribe in the amount of more than 200 thousand rubles from the director of a commercial organization for illegal actions and general patronage,” said Alexander Skorik, a representative of the department.
The crime was revealed by employees of the Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Chelyabinsk.
It is worth noting that the new director of the city garden lasted a little more than two years in this post. He was appointed after the former head fell under the article of negligence due to the illegal leasing of underground passages on the main square of Chelyabinsk. The criminal case against her was initiated in the fall of 2019. And in January last year, the verdict was passed.
Details about the transfer of the bribe to the UK have not yet been disclosed. The issue of choosing a measure of restraint for the detainee and bringing charges is being decided, the ministry succinctly noted.
