The new Tag Heuer smart watch is presented - it can already be ordered in Russia:

Swiss watchmaker Tag Heuer has unveiled the fourth generation of its Wear OS smartwatch, the Connected Caliber E4.

The new watch boasts a faster and more powerful SoC, longer battery life, an improved screen, and more software features. In addition to the "standard" 45mm version, Tag Heuer brought back a 42mm size that the company didn't offer when the E3 series was released in 2020.

Versions on 45 and 42 mm have differences in design and characteristics. It is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4100+. As the manufacturer promises, the battery capacity of the new 45 mm model has been increased by 30% compared to previous generations.

The larger 45mm variant is designed for a full day of activity, including one hour of running and two hours of walking or five hours of golf. The 42mm model is rated for a day of battery life with run tracking for an hour or less. The watch comes with a new magnetic charger that doubles as a stand.

Of the innovations, step-by-step 7-minute workouts with animation and messages about changing exercises were added to the watch, as well as many new dials of increased information content.

The Connected Caliber E4 (45mm) features a 1.39" AMOLED screen with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels, a 440mAh battery, while the 42mm version features a 1.28" AMOLED screen with a resolution of 416 x 416 pixels and a battery with a capacity of 330 mAh The older model is offered in a case made of steel or titanium, the younger one is made only of steel. The watch has a built-in barometer, compass, heart rate monitor, accelerometer, gyroscope and microphone, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC are supported. Water protection (5ATM) is provided. The watch runs Wear OS 2. An update to Wear OS 3 is planned, but the timing is not specified.

In the US, the price ranges from $1,800 to $2,550. In Russia - from 138,000 to 193,000 rubles.
