Russia - Service 122 calls up 35% in a week

Russia (bbabo.net) - Calls to 122 increased nearly 35% in a week. The growth is associated primarily with an increase in the number of patients with COVID-19, said Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.

"Despite this, most regions cope with the increased volume. The average waiting time for an operator's response is about a minute. But there are subjects where the indicators do not meet the standards. The main reason is that the number of operators on the line was not increased in time," Chernyshenko noted.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the federal authorities are ready to help the regions in case of technical problems.

Chernyshenko paid special attention to the need to resolve issues by remote registration of sick leave. The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Digital Development should quickly organize this work in order to reduce the burden on polyclinics and make life easier for citizens who in a number of regions are waiting in line to see a doctor.

Recall that a single service 122 was created in all regions on behalf of President Vladimir Putin in November 2020.
