Russia (bbabo.net) - The Prikubansky District Court of Krasnodar issued a verdict in the case of an explosion in a stall selling shawarma on 40th Anniversary of Victory Street in the regional capital. When a gas cylinder exploded, two employees of this food service were killed. The owner of the stall was found guilty of causing death by negligence.

- The defendant rented a square in a shopping pavilion on 40th anniversary of Victory Street, where she organized the work of the Shaurma from the Soul fast food point. For the preparation of fast food, she purchased gas cylinders, which she placed in violation of fire safety requirements, the joint press service of the courts of the Krasnodar Territory said in a statement.

The explosion in the room occurred on January 22, 2021. The owner of the stall at the court session fully admitted her guilt and repented. She was sentenced to one year of imprisonment. The court took into account mitigating circumstances, including the fact that the defendant has three minor children.
