Police officers in St. Petersburg detained a drunk man who hit an ambulance paramedic. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city and the Leningrad region.

It was established that the doctors came to the call on the application received and there was a conflict.

“The police detained a man who hit an ambulance paramedic who arrived to apply,” the department said.

As it turned out, at around 6 am, an ambulance arrived at the apartment located on Khersonskaya Street, where the incident took place.

Help was needed for a 47-year-old man who stayed at a friend's house. At the same time, the drunk patient quarreled with the medical staff, hitting the paramedic in the face.

Soon, the attacker was taken to the police department and brought to administrative responsibility. The circumstances of the attack on the paramedic are currently unknown.

Earlier, a video of a fight between traffic police officers and an operative in St. Petersburg appeared.
