The people's choice drew attention to the fact that he was at war with the Yangulbaevs. He also allowed that family members would eventually face "the judgment of the Lord."

A day earlier, on February 1, Delimkhanov announced on Instagram that the Yangulbaevs signed their own sentence when they offended the feelings of believers.

“There is no doubt that for insulting our religion, statutes, as well as for those who follow the path of the first president of the Chechen Republic, Hero of Russia Akhmat Kadyrov, we will force them to answer in full, we have always forced and will continue to force!” the politician said.

On January 20 this year, armed masked men, presumably Chechen police officers, broke into Yangulbaev's apartment in Nizhny Novgorod. Under the pretext of a decision by the Chechen investigation to forcibly bring Yangulbaev and his wife Zarema for interrogation, they took the judge's wife away.
