These are the results of a sociological survey conducted in January 2022 by the independent research agency Zoom market.

The rating was formed on the basis of answers to several questions: Do you often give up your seat in public transport to older people? do you let older people go ahead in the queue? Do you always listen to the end of older people? Do you consider old age a reason for respect?

As a result, it turned out that 76 percent of the country's inhabitants give way to the elderly in public transport, but only 13 percent of the respondents agree to let the elderly go ahead of the queue. In any situation, 53 percent of the respondents in the sample are ready to listen to the end of an older person, and only 24 percent consider old age a reason for respect.

The survey was conducted in 26 Russian cities using the method of personal and telephone interviews. The total sample was 3120 respondents. Lipetsk and Moscow closed this list.
