In 2021, 161 thousand new premium cars were sold in Russia. Of these, the Lexus RX crossover became the most popular - the Japanese model has held this title for the sixth year in a row, the Avtostat agency reports.
In total, last year the circulation of Lexus RX amounted to a little more than 10 thousand copies - 4% less than in 2020. The new Japanese crossover costs from 4.43 million rubles.
The second and third positions are occupied by Mercedes-Benz models - GLE (9.38 thousand units) and E-Class (7.81 thousand units). Their sales grew by 39% and 14% respectively. The GLE crossover costs from 6.68 million rubles, and the E-Class sedan - from 4.59 million rubles.
The top five included two BMW models - SUVs X5 (7.4 thousand units; -4%; from 6.04 million rubles) and X3 (6.39 thousand units; + 15%; from 4 .52 million rubles).
This is followed by the BMW 5-Series (5,636 units; +5%; from RUB 4.25 million) and X6 (5,473 units; +7%; from RUB 7.1 million), as well as Mercedes-Benz GLS (5,349 units; +59%; from RUB 9.58 million), BMW 3-Series (5,194 units; +31%; from RUB 3.28 million) and Mercedes-Benz GLC (4,657 units; +21%; from 5.34 million rubles).
Earlier it became known that in January 2021, cars of 30 brands went up in price in Russia at once.
