Russia (bbabo.net), - In the Berezovsky district, officers of the criminal investigation department and the National Guard in hot pursuit detained three men suspected of stealing computer equipment for cryptocurrency mining. A criminal case has been opened, they said on February 2 in the head office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The theft of equipment worth 14.5 million rubles was reported by its owner the day before. The police quickly identified the people involved, as law enforcement officers believe, in the crime, and with the support of SOBR fighters, they detained them. The stolen equipment has been recovered.

In a criminal case of theft, the alleged kidnappers face up to 10 years in prison. Regional police investigators are checking the detainees for involvement in similar violations of the law.
