Russia (bbabo.net) - In the Saratov region, a court has arrested a 29-year-old woman who is accused of stabbing her five-year-old son. As already reported, according to investigators, the mother, who was intoxicated, tried to kill her child.
The misfortune happened in the apartment of a multi-storey building on Poltavskaya Street in Engels, where a woman lived with a child. At night, she tried to kill her son by stabbing him several times in the chest, neck and stomach. Police and an ambulance were called by neighbors who heard a noise in the apartment.
After the arrest, the mother confessed to the attack on the child and said that she was sorry about what had happened. According to the regional Ministry of Health, the boy was seriously injured and is in serious condition.
The family was registered as dysfunctional, but a year ago this status was removed from it. In addition to the case of attempted murder of a minor, law enforcement officers have also initiated and are investigating another criminal case on the negligence of guardianship officials.
According to the regional department of the Investigative Committee, the court granted the investigator's request and placed the resident of Engels, accused of a crime, in custody until April 11.
