Russia (bbabo.net), - Members of the Lurk hacker group, who stole more than a billion rubles, were sentenced in Yekaterinburg to real terms.

The court appointed the leader of the organization the longest term - 14 years in a strict regime colony. "Three will serve their sentences in a strict regime correctional colony, the rest in a general regime colony. One of the convicts was granted a deferment from serving a sentence until the child reaches the age of 14," Marina Kanatova, spokeswoman for the Sverdlovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, said.

Recall that there were 22 defendants in the case, one of them fled from justice and was put on the wanted list, another one had previously entered into a pre-trial agreement and was sentenced to five years of general regime.

Accomplices, according to law enforcement agencies, to arrange computer hacks and turn fraudulent schemes from December 2015 to April 2016. With the help of a virus program, they gained access to the local computer networks of large banks, travel agencies and enterprises, and stole more than 1.2 billion rubles. They also got into the database of Koltsovo International Airport.
