Russia (bbabo.net), - In the Orenburg region, a sentence was passed on a fatal selfie of a teenage girl on the roof of a tank car. The employee guarding the cargo, who allowed the presence of a schoolgirl and her friends at the high-risk facility, received two years in prison.

This was reported by the press service of the Gai City Court.

As already mentioned, the tragedy occurred on July 26 last year at the Khalilovo station of the South Ural Railway. In the evening, girls aged 11, 13 and 14 decided to take a selfie on the roof of a railway tank car. As a result, they were injured by a 27,500-volt electrical discharge. Later, one of the schoolgirls died in the hospital from her burns.

The court found that the cause of the emergency was negligence: the employee, who was entrusted with the duty to protect dangerous goods, arbitrarily left his post for a long time. At the same time, the man saw that there were children in the territory protected by him. He was found guilty of negligence resulting in death.

The defendant fully admitted his guilt.
