He is accused of malfeasance and causing damage to the regional budget.

The former official is charged with abuse of power and abuse of power. In particular, the press service of the regional FSB said that in 2019 the manager received a second higher education at one of the universities in the region at the expense of the budget. More than 130 thousand rubles were allocated from the regional treasury to pay for the master's program of the accused - according to the investigation, unreasonably.

Another episode concerns the construction of a multi-storey ground-underground parking garage in the center of Barnaul. The contractor, who was engaged in the construction of a parking lot for officials' cars, received a subsidy from the budget - about 19 million by order of the ex-manager. At the same time, the business manager knew that, according to the results of the state examination, the project of the complex received a negative assessment. In addition, according to the regional FSB, the defendant knew that the regulatory legal act of the regional administration, providing for the provision of subsidies for this facility, was not adopted.

The criminal case was sent to the Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Barnaul for consideration on the merits.
