The largest school in the Moscow region will be built in the residential complex "Hussar Ballad" in Odintsovo near Moscow. The educational institution will open its doors on September 1, 2023. Together with the kindergarten under construction, the school will form a multifunctional educational cluster in this residential area of Odintsovo.
The building will have four floors. In addition to classrooms, there are rooms for extension groups, 2 sports, as well as assembly halls, laboratory assistants, and workshops. On the territory there will be a stadium with a football field, sports grounds, areas for games and recreation.
“The region is growing, so we must manage to provide it with schools, kindergartens, polyclinics, and interchanges. At least 2.2 thousand children will study at this school. She is very much expected, because now parents are forced to take their children to study in other places. We are trying to shorten the time as much as possible so that schools are built not in 36 or 24 months, as before, but in 18. There will also be a kindergarten for 400 places nearby - from January next year, after the New Year holidays, children will already go to it, ” said the governor of the Moscow region Andrey Vorobyov.
The new school is one of 25 that were laid simultaneously in 17 municipalities in August last year. The start of construction was then given by Andrei Vorobyov, together with Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova and co-chairman of the ONF, head of the Sirius educational center Elena Shmeleva.
Local resident Ksenia Fedorova asked the governor to include the school in the Open Stadium program. To make its territory accessible to all residents who want to play sports.
“My youngest daughter went to grade 1, now she travels to school by bus - from 20 to 35 minutes. You have to get up every day at 6:30. Therefore, we are looking forward to a new school not far from home. And it's great that there will also be a stadium, ”Ksenia shared.
