While the girl was looking for with the police, she spent time with her friend. It was possible to establish where the missing person was only as a result of urgent operational-search measures.

A student from the USA arrived in St. Petersburg on January 28. On February 3, she came to the state university and signed a contract for training, after which she stopped communicating. The university staff could not find her and contacted the police.
