Russia (bbabo.net), - For each case of a newly diagnosed oncological disease, confirmed during further research, the doctor responsible for the medical examination will be paid 500 rubles, the health worker who referred the patient to an oncologist - 250 rubles, and the person who registered the person for dispensary registration with a specialist - 250 rubles. The order was signed by Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko.

Previously, a payment in the amount of one thousand rubles was divided into five parts between a general practitioner and health workers who ordered a diagnostic study that confirmed the oncological diagnosis, completed it in a timely manner and established dispensary observation for the patient.

"It is expected that the payments will encourage early detection of cancer during medical examinations and preventive medical examinations of the population. This will help prescribe timely treatment to patients," the ministry's press service explained.

Payments to medical workers will be received monthly from the funds of the territorial compulsory medical insurance funds.

It is noted that in total the government allocated 155 million rubles for them in 2022.
