Russia (bbabo.net) - In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, investigators opened a criminal case after the death of a five-month-old baby. As reported in the regional UK, the girl fell ill on January 31, her parents called an ambulance more than once, a pediatrician came to the house, but until February 3, the baby was not hospitalized.

The child's mother independently got from her village of Ust-Izykchul, Uzhursky district, to the regional center and turned to the infectious diseases department of the city hospital. But she was refused hospitalization and sent to Achinsk. At the same time, information about the sick person was not transferred to the resuscitation and advisory center, transportation was not agreed, the car was provided without resuscitation equipment, and a paramedic was assigned as an escort, who could not provide the necessary medical assistance on the way.

By the time she arrived in Achinsk, the girl was already in a state of clinical death, the doctors of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Center for Maternal and Childhood Protection No. 2 tried to resuscitate the baby, but to no avail.

The case was initiated under Part 2 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Causing death by negligence due to improper performance by a person of his professional duties." The investigation was taken under control in the central office of the Russian Investigative Committee.
